For any A-Team players or players hoping to get into the A-Team, we have been offered the opportunity to go and train
with Warwick University on Wednesday nights. The first one is tonight (I know it’s late notice, but I think I have told
most people anyway). The sessions are 7pm-9pm. If you can’t make your own way there, then you’ll need to talk to
someone with a car. Your best bet is Jason or Jack who have organised this for us.
Sorry about the delay but the fixtures for Midland League Division 3 matches are now available on the B Team fixtures
page. The B Team have already got off to a great start already by beating rivals Boldmere 11 - 10. It was a close game
as the score suggests. It was also a game which included 2 heroic penalty saves by veteran goal keeper Ken Gower
(He’s still got it!). Well done boys!
SWIM TEACHING, HELP NEEDED.
We currently only have one regular swimming teacher in the large pool. Caroline works very hard to coordinate three
lanes of young swimmers. This isn’t easy and what we really need is for some of the players, moms, dads, anyone to
help Caroline on Friday nights. You don’t need any teaching experience, just enthusiasm and patience. Please help.
You don’t need to commit to doing it every week, just whenever you can. Speak to Caroline or Ruth if you feel you can
contribute.
The fixtures for Midland League Division 2 matches can now be found on the A Team fixtures page

Every year at this time, it is traditon for the current Under 21 players to take on the the older players in a “friendly”
game of waterpolo. Last night the youth and the old-guard clashed in an exciting end to end game. It looked as though
the Under 21s might cause an upset (the Over 21s generally win this fixture). In the end, experience triumphed over
youth and fitness and the Over 21s comfortably won the game 14 goals to 10. Better luck next year lads! :-p
On the 6th of November the club held it’s annual race night. This consists of a number of races across all the age
ranges and a mini inter-club tournament. The night overall was a great success and lots of fun for those involved. The
list of winners for each of the individual races can be found here.
The inter-club polo tournament saw three teams competing. An over 25s team, an under 19s and a team of 19-
25s+under 14s. The mixed 19-25s+under 14s eventually triumphed narrowly on goal difference, with the under 19s
finishing 2nd. The results of the games can be found here.

This is going to be a friendly game of polo open to all members, polo players and non polo players alike.
Due to the differing range of abilities non polo players will not be tied down to the normal rules of the game. Meaning
they can stand up and use two hands.
It promises to be a fun game and we hope plenty of you will get involved. Moms, Dads, Aunties, Uncles! Come have a
fun game of polo and celebrate with us.
Sign up now at the pool on Friday.
